Since 2003 we have been making food while caring for the environment and for the people who eat it.
Why our honey is organic
Our Organic Honey and our Creamy Organic Honey are certified by OIA, Organización Internacional Agropecuaria, under Argentina’s National Organic Production Law 25.127 and SENASA Resolution 374/2016, standards recognised as equivalent to those of the European Union. Certification is renewed through regular inspections.
The land and a 1 km radius around the hives are certified. We leave enough honey in the hive for the bees to get through the winter, and when processing liquid honey we never exceed 40 °C.
Certified gluten-free products
Our plant and our products are certified gluten-free (Sin TACC: free from wheat, oats, barley and rye). Certification is granted by ANMAT, Argentina’s food and drug authority, once it has been shown that there is no possibility of cross-contamination in the production process.
To achieve this, our plant has processes and measures that ensure food safety, including our staff, their hygiene and their training. Very few honeys in Argentina are certified gluten-free, and we are proud to be on the list. In 2017 we received the APSAL Award in the Beekeeping category for our gluten-free honey.
We are a Certified B Corporation
B Corporations meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Being part of this community is a commitment to our town, to the people who work with us and to the environment.
In addition, we make our products using solar energy.
